Hello, I am Dr. Jerry G. Houston, Senior minister of the church of Christ, which meets in the flower city of Rochester, New York, on 285 East Henrietta Road. If you are ever in our city come visits us and you will find "a church where friends meet on spiritual grounds."

Let me take the time to introduce the church of Christ to you. We are a Bible believing, Bible practicing, and Bible preaching fellowship. We believe in "speaking where the Bible speaks and being silent where the Bible is silent." We believe in calling "Bible things by Bible names and doing Bible things in Bible ways." Therefore we "worship God in Spirit and in truth," (John 4:24); we give as we prosper, (2 Cor. 9:6,7); we pray and sing as God commands, (I Cor. 14:15); we preach and teach nothing more and nothing less than the Gospel of Jesus Christ, (1 Cor. 15:1-4); and we commune every Lord's Day, (Acts 20:7), and we preach the biblical plan of salvation, (Acts 2:37-40). We are a ministry sensitive fellowship and we believe in ministering to the hurts, habits and hang-ups of humanity by reconciling man with God (2 Cor. 5:18-21).

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (Matthew 28:19-20)
