Purpose: Recognition and encouragement for scholastic achievement success for East Henrietta Road Church of Christ Young People.

High school graduates are lovingly awarded a Savings Bond to applaud their scholastic achievement and to enhance and encourage Christian bonding, growing and development of the churches future leaders. These are given upon their graduation of high school.

The committee also have an organized scholarship fund that could be financially supportive of higher education for our members children and young people. There are guidelines that must be met and they can not exceed 21 years of age.

These funds are raised through various fund raisers including: car washes, souvenir books, bowl-a-thons, candy sales, and donations/contributions from different sources.  The committee holds an annual dinner which consists of a guest speaker, entertainment, presentation of checks to applicants enrolled in college, and certificates to college graduates.

Additional awards have been awarded to our local congregations.  We have also committed to support Southwestern Christian College with an annual donation.
