This area of ministry is responsible for transporting adults and children to and from Bible Classes and worship assemblies, insuring that they arrive on time and return to their respective places. This ministry will also be responsible for the up keep of all vehicles, insuring that they are in safe operating condition according to the state laws. They will be responsible for coordinating neighborhood canvassing of areas to keep riders coming so that they will have the opportunity to hear the gospel.

The greatest gift that a bus ministry could give a child is Christian parents, therefore, the main objective of an effective bus ministry is evangelism, by keeping records of all non-Christian riders and follow-up on them developing quality outreach into their homes.

The deacons or persons in charge of this task will seek out means to accomplish this goal by the use of workshops, using bus captains, door knocking, campaigns, and telephones. Eventually, as the finances permit additional vehicles will have to be purchased.

The Bus/Transportation Ministry will also be responsible for coordinating transportation for trips and group movement to various functions and outings.

Anyone needing transportation please contact the church at 585/256-0190.
